Pocket belts are the perfect accessory for any situation where you want to carry your essentials (phone, cash, cards, keys) hands free.  Think summer time travels and festivals, being able to hop on the dance floor or from place to place without having to worry about where your left your bag.  
Heavy duty brass snaps keep the adjustable belt secured around your waist, or slung over your shoulder cross-body style (I prefer to wear mine cross-body when I'm on my bike).
Under the big flap are two pockets.  The larger, open pocket is a great place to keep your phone, some reusable cutlery, smaller notebook etc.  The smaller zippered pocket is a more secure place to keep cash and cards secure.  There is a tiny little pocket for a lighter or a lip balm, and a little loop that works great to attach a carabiner with keys or even a water bottle.
